Richard joined Trumble Szanto Lawyers in 1988 as a Partner following the firms merger with his previous firm, Braham & Partners. With 35 years’ experience in commercial law and property law, Richard is able to advise clients across a wide range of commercial matters including those arising from the sale and purchase of businesses and formulating the best structure for your business – whether it be a company, a partnership, a trust or a joint venture.
Richard has a diverse range of clients including a number of property developers of varying size. He has particular experience in general commercial matters including leasing matters and takes a hands on commercial approach to his clients. Richard is able to advise on all aspects of a transaction from acquisition, planning, building contracts, financing arrangements, off the plan contracts, sophisticated and sometimes complex special conditions to liaising with mezzanine financiers and other lenders to ensure the plan of subdivision is registered as efficiently as possible.
Richard also has extensive experience in estate planning, wills, probate applications and estate administration, and providing advice on industrial relations and employment issues.
Richard is married with three children. He is a sports enthusiast with many involvements.

Natalya McClung

Natalya is a very experienced conveyancing clerk well versed in all aspects of domestic and commercial conveyancing.
Natalya has been working under the supervision of Richard Leggo since she joined Trumble Szanto Lawyers in 2007 as a law clerk.
Since that time, Natalya has developed her skills and knowledge in all kinds of conveyancing from large commercial matters to off the plan purchases, acting for both developers and stand-alone vendors and purchasers.
She is now a highly competent law clerk, with over 10 years’ experience in her own right, who supports Richard as his senior conveyancing clerk.
